This site is dedicated to the more radical types of conversions done to the good old VW Bug....

Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against the Beetle (or Bus or T3...) in stock form. A well presented '67 Bug, or even a ratty daily driver warms the cockels etc. Having said that, since the Beetle is so ideally suited to being modified, why not celebrate that fact?!

This is precisely what this site is about. Since it is my site, I will concentrate on my cars - my Nova and my Wizard.

The Nova is nearly complete (or at least as complete as it is going to be!). Having said that there is plento to say about it, which I will be posting here as I get a chance to write.

The Wizard is my current project. It is undergoing a fairly radical conversion into a '36 Ford styled hot rod. This is devinately a whole winter project, as there is lots to do the car on top of simply converting it. The conversion process will be covered here as it progresses (and as I get round to writing it up!)

Of course, my Nova and Wizard are not the be all and end all of aircooled conversions. If anyone has information and/or pictures of an aircooled conversion (the more radical the better!) send it to mail@wizrod.com.
